US citizenship has many benefits. US citizenship is a premier privilege given to a legal resident of the country. The US citizenship consists of rights, duties and also privileges as entitled to be granted to the citizen.

United States Citizens have the right to vote. The biggest thing that draws people here is the right to work anywhere in the United States.

1. You must be a permanent Resident for at least 5 years;
   you are not allowed to apply until you have stayed in the USA for at least 4 years and 9 months.
2. Have physical presence in the United States.
3. Having satisfied the required time limit of stay within the USCIS district or state.
4. You must have good moral character.
5. Have sufficient English speaking voice.
6. You must be declaring Attachments to the US Constitution.
7. You must be able to pass the United States Citizenship test.

Is there a form?

When filling out the application form N-400 it must be accompanied with 2 photos for your profile.

If they ask for additional information and you do not provide it to them you will not be allowed Citizenship.

Will the process be quick?

It will take a while to hear back but they will send you a letter from the USCIS.

You will receive a letter which will tell you your date and time of appointment.

You will be asked to come in for an interview.

You fingerprints will be processed through the FBI database and they will do a thorough background test to make sure you are eligible.

Is there any test?

During your interview you will be tested on several quizzes.

They are looking for knowledge on reading and writing as well as being tested for your US history among other things.

If you don’t bring in the necessary documents they may deny your applications so make sure that you bring all that is necessary stuff.

You must get the Green Card Renewed every 10 years despite the fact that your status is a permanent resident and you must pay to keep your status.

Being a United States Citizen will give you great benefits like the right to sponsor your family to America, as well as the right to not be deported. Many people each year are deported even with Green Cards for many reasons. This is discouraging for the applicant. The only way is to become a Citizen to avoid deportation. Fear will continue until this is completed. Just because you apply doesn’t mean you will become it takes hard work and a grueling process many are disqualified during the process for many reasons and must re-apply again the next year.
